Valentine Craft #1

hey yea. I am going to share you an idea for the up coming valentine day. are you ready? have you find any perfect gift for you love? If you have not, you are on the right page. here’s a simple idea of what to gift your love one.

Valentine Craft #1 (I hope I will have more, hopefully.)

I personally love handmade gifts, I will get touched easily if one show me his sincerity through the effort and time he spend on making craft…. hehe! I believe some of the girls out there share the same thoughts like me, so guys take note! :D alright, here’s what I have.

You will need color papers of your choice, scissors, glue and a marker pen.

Draw a door hanger shape and cut it out. You can decide the choice of shape you prefer.

Since its for valentine, show your love! The more the better, yes? :D

Plan on how you want them to be.

I did flying love, from a small heart to a large one, to bring the message of…. “My love for you grows each day…” something like that… you decide whatever quote is better for your the other half. hehehe!

I named this door hanger “Show your Love”. Place it on his/her door the day before and imagine when he/she discover your love after he/she come back from work or school the next day when he/she is about to enter her room. I believe this is going to make his/her day. Well yeah, if you don’t think so.. TRY! :D

If you have any enquiry, leave me a message in the comment box. I will get back to you. cheers!

Enjoy and remember to show your love!

Loveee, Jane.

I always love fellowship with my friends. A simple meal filled with laughters. Their companions makes me feel warm. We should do this more often guys!

After brunch, few of us went back home earlier while others went to the market to do their groceries shopping. We came home earlier for a nap to recharge our energy and get ready for dinner! yeshh dinner. A proper “Chinese New Year reunion dinner” with my friends. :D We had hot pot at Shangrila in Chinatown, where you find most of the asian cuisine.

tasteless soup. the best part of it is the last part, after you cooked everything… that’s when the soup started to get tasty.

Roxy’s tip for the tasteless soup… put more prawn to make it tasty :D

DIY Chinese New Year card.

Hellloooo! I am back. Done with my assignment and is all ready for tomorrow’s submission. give me a high five!

Happy Chinese New Year to all my beloved family and friends! I believe all of you have a great one. My facebook news feed and twitter are overloaded with pictures of everyone in their new clothes, looking cool ha. I am so happy to see everyone’s happy faces… family portrait… I missed out my family portrait this year *sobbing*.

On the brighter side, I will be experiencing a western chinese new year celebration with my friends here… like school on the first day of Chinese new year *sigh*. I spent the whole morning in the printing room and while I was waiting for my printing…. Mummy’s chicken soup mee sua (we had this for breakfast on every first day of CNY) came across my mind. I THINK I am craving for mummy’s cook. heeee! But it ain’t that bad actually, my flatmates are all quite skillful with Chinese cuisine and since we did not have the time to go out for a dinner, we cooked at home. A simple meal but it makes me feel warm and homeeeey :D

Earlier on when I have a little bit of free time, I decided to make a chinese new year for my family since I could not find any chinese new year card here. Here’s a few picture of my chinese new year card’s ingredients and steps. Hope it inspire you.

pPaper from Shabby Chic.

I think it is not going to be that bad. hopefully. hehe! I believe all of you are now busy with preparations, decorations, shopping for new attire for the festive that is around the corner….yea? Enjoy doing it… because I do not get to :(

Have a blessed chinese new year… :D

Hello New Year! :D

How’s your celebration? I hope everyone enjoyed and are ready to kick the new year. It does not matter if you are not, allow yourself to laze around today and start off a good one tomorrow. I should not be here and let blogging along. I should be in my bed and wake up earlier tomorrow morning for my dim sum date with Roxy, Von and Mindy. Dim sum on a Sunday morning  is very typical back home. I missed the family… especially John… He is in the  national service now, I felt empty without him whatsapping me each day :’(

Love, Jane.

I won’t give up.

I don’t wanna be someone who walks away so easily
I’m here to stay and make the difference that I can make
Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use
The tools and gifts we got yeah, we got a lot at stake
And in the end, you’re still my friend at least we did intend
For us to work we didn’t break, we didn’t burn
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in
I had to learn what I’ve got, and what I’m not
And who I am

To all my love ones, I will never give up on you because you are part of my learning. Thank you for being part of my life too.

Love, Jane.
